Regarding the use of file sink module

I'm not sure this is where I should be asking this question but here goes.

I use the file sink module in my flow chart, hoping to record broadcast signals. The high sampling frequency results in too many sampling points. The txt file cannot fully display the data. There are also problems with thedataformatandgarbled characters. How should I solve this questions?
