Dear GNU Radio Community,
We're excited to announce that GNU Radio Conference 2025 (GRCon25) will take place September 8–12 in Everett, Washington (Seattle Area), at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center.
Call for Participation – Now Open
We invite you to submit talks, papers, workshops, tutorials, and demos for GRCon25. Whether you're advancing research, deploying SDR systems in the field, building open-source tools, or experimenting at home, we want to hear from you.
Abstract submissions are due by May 30, 2025 - https://gnuradio.org/grcon25
We look forward to a broad range of topics to be submitted including SDR development, wireless systems, education, AI/ML, 5G/6G and beyond, radio astronomy, hardware integration, community projects, and more
Presenters: For this year we are offering a $200 discount available upon request once once your talk is accepted
This is to make the conference as accessible as possible for participants - If you are attending from a well-funded organization and do not need the discount, please consider leaving it available for others who do.
New User Day – A Great Place to Start
GRCon25 will kick off with a special New User Day on Monday, September 8, focused on helping beginners and newcomers get started (or more comfortable) with GNU Radio.
This year's program includes a featured hands-on workshop by Paul Clark, author of the recently published book Practical SDR (No Starch Press). It's a fantastic opportunity to learn directly from the author!
Registration Now Open
We've worked to make the conference as accessible as possible:
Students: $100
Student Presenters: Free
Discounted registration for unaffiliated individuals
