Hi Fernando
I'm using Ubuntu 20.04, GRC 3. gr-osmosdr (with rtl dongle, I don't have BladeRF) gqrx and gr-limesdr.
The attached file explain how to install all this stuff and to be able to run both gqrx an gr-osmosdr source under GR. This process is/was valid in September 2020 , it will probably become soon obsolete).
As explained:
- gr-osmosdr is not compatible with GR3.9 (see some recent mail on this list) so don't use GR 3.9 (Some guys are trying to port gr-osmosdr to 3.9 )
- 3.8.2 is the default GR version under Ubuntu 20.04 (using ppa:gnuradio/gnuradio-releases)
- if you install gr-osmosdr from package, it won't work under GR
- if you build gr-osmosdr from source, you can get a working GR3.8 with osmo-sdr sources as well as GQRX too.

I'm trying to use this configuration in linux. I have been having a lot of problems trying to do it work. I have read tha maybe gr_osmo is not compatible with python3, that is better to use bladerRF from a ppa if ubuntu is 20.04 or later, that better use of pyboms, etc.
So the question is, if I install a ubuntu from scratch just to use GRC and GR-osmo with bladeRF 2.0, which would be the better options?
best regards
