Yeah the compiler used in OSX 10.12 should not be GCC; should be Clang of some sort. Let me boot into 10.12 on one my buildbots & see what happens. - MLD

Hi All,Thank you very much for coming back to me.Michael, I tried both of these methods. No luck.As pointed out by Johannes it could be that I really have an ancient version of gcc that doesnt have these things. I think I will have to start from scratch. Delete everything, update things and try again.Johannes, yeah I dont know what to make of `Apple LLVM`. :) It could be that my Xcode messed up things.Anyway, I will keep trying.ThanksMilosOn Fri, 6 Sep 2019 at 13:51, Michael Dickens <michael.dickens@ettus.com> wrote:Hi Milos - "volk" builds for me cleanly, but I'm using a current model MacBook Pro which supports most of the AVX features checked for by Volk. A couple thoughts:1) Can you try building the "volk-devel" port and see if it works?2) Can you try the following & see if it works:{{{
sudo port clean volksudo port install volk -orc}}}Hope this is useful! - MLDOn Thu, Sep 5, 2019 at 8:11 PM Milos Milosavljevic <milos.milosavljevic@spire.com> wrote:Dear All,_______________________________________________I cant build Volk on Mac at all using macports.
