Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] Problem with GNU Radio v.3.6.5

I finally got things working. I removed everything gnuradio/rtl-sdr related and installed the current version of gnuradio and the osmocom stuff from source.

Hopefully there will be a new system at my disposal soon. I'll probably try a more current linux. Any suggestions as to the best one?

Thanks for the advice,

George

You didn't properly install your GNU Radio or one of its dependencies, or you've installed incompatible versions of the same software, or something of the like. You should do a clean install on a clean system. Since the 3.6 branch has long outlived its community support, I can only wish you the best of luck, and reiterate what I usually say in such circumstances: It might be a good time to consider the time you invest into making old software run on old infrastructure as a loss, compared to what you'd gain trying to port the same software to a modern GNU Radio. Hello everyone We have installed GNU Radio v.3.6.5 on Debian 8.4 as it's mentioned to be the compatible version with gr-extras which we need in our project. We faced an error in running pre-cog examples. Then for testing purpose we ran demod.grc example, and encountered the same error. This error and the grc is attached. It would be appreciated if you kindly help us with this issue. Thanks in advance. _______________________________________________ Discuss-gnuradio mailing list Discuss-gnuradio@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss-gnuradio
