Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] DVB-T Reception Problem

Hi Ahsan,
The signal does look good indeed. I'm guessing the problem is that nothing is output from the OFDM sym acquisition blocks (both from gr-dvbt and gr-isdbt?). In any case, are you sure about those transmission parameters? Did you check other CP lengths? gr-isdbt includes a small grc file to check both the transmission mode and CP which works both for ISDB-T and DVB-T (examples/obtaining_parameters.grc, please refer to the README or the issues section on the git). Maybe you could test that?

Marcus,

That extremely low signal level is due to a Multiply Const block in the flow graph set to 0.00055242272. In the gr-dtv in-tree version, I've deleted that block.

Can you crank up the USRP gain further? An average PSD value of 10^-14 indicates there's still room for amplification, maybe. What Daughterboard are you using?
Just out of interest, because improvised a ~760MHz monopole antenna not so long ago: What kind of antenna are you using?

Best regards,
Marcus

Hello all, Here are the USRP setting for my flowgraph USRP N210 Settings Sampling Rate: 10M Center Frequency :746MHz Gain:19 The broadcast station has these parameters Frequency:746MHz Code rate : 2/3 Guard interval : 1/4 Transmission mode : 8k I tried the vector to stream trick but doesnt works. Also I tried using the OFDM synchronization block from gr-isdbt it also doesnt works. The signal capture according to me is very good I have its screenshot attached. Any other tips to get the flowgraph running? Thanks all Cheers Ahsan
