Marcus, please correct if my understanding is wrong in the following :

If a rx is something like this :

[preamble search] -> [frame alignment] --> [deinterleaver] --> [decoder]
--> [descrambler]

So with GNU Radio framework there will one thread for each of the [ ]
bracketed component ?
